The Directory
The Franchise Engine's Directory contains our Clients' listings. Whenever a client creates a new listing, it is added to our Directory, as shown in the graphic below:
Unlike traditional franchise portals, we encourage our clients to include as much information as possible in their listings. Research has shown that this makes the listing extremely powerful at generating buyer interest in (and desire for) the client's concept. This results in more leads and more sales for the client.
Each listing contains the following 6 sections:

Summary. Your Summary is shown at the top of your listing, as well as in search results when buyers conduct a search. Your summary consists of your logo and your Advertising Line, which catches buyers’ attention and gives them a quick idea of what your concept is about.

|
Overview. The Overview is where you provide a full description of your concept. You can present as much information as you want, including images (such as pictures, graphics, and charts), to really capture buyers’ attention. And you can lay out your Overview anyway you want (including your choice of colors and fonts) to match your brand.

|
Details. The Details section provides buyers with a details on specific aspects of your opportunity. You can provide as much or as little information as you want for the following items:

Financial information such as initial fee, capital required, net worth required, etc. |
|
Background such as year started and number of units sold/active |
|
Locations where opportunities are available (by state) |
|
Facilities (home based, mobile, office based, retail, warehouse, etc.) |
|
Employees (sole operator, requires employees, absentee owner allowed, etc.) |
|
Do you provide any financing assistance? (yes, no, third party) |

Training/Support offered |
You can also post answers to the most Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) you receive from prospective franchisees. This enables you to address any questions buyers have up front so they feel even more comfortable with and attracted to your offering.

Media. In this section, you can upload videos, Podcasts, brochures, press releases, articles, etc. that will help increase buyers’ interest in your opportunity. This section has proven to be extremely effective at increasing your listing’s ability to generate leads.
In addition to being displayed with your listing, any articles and press releases you upload are displayed across our entire network of websites in our InfoSource section. This draws even more attention to your listing and helps you generate even more leads at no additional cost. |

Testimonials. The only thing better than you telling buyers why they should buy your opportunity is having your customers tell buyers why they should buy your opportunity. Since testimonials are very powerful and can be very persuasive, we created a section in your listing for you to list your best testimonials that potential buyers can read. |

|
Contact Information. We allow (and encourage) you to list your contact information so buyers can contact you directly. This helps you get in touch with buyers while they are at their “hottest.” You can include a phone number, an email address, and a link to your website. |

In addition, you can modify your listing at any time through the Account Mananger. Any changes you make will instantly be published across our entire Network of websites without any additional effort on your part.
